Middle & High School - IGCSE

CAIE prepares school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. CAIE’s world-class qualifications, and education programmes give learners the confidence to demonstrate and fulfil their potential.

The IGCSE curriculum is offered to Middle School students in Classes 6 and 7. This curriculum is best suited to students who love to learn independently through research and an inquiry-based approach, without being restricted in what and how much to learn.

The IGCSE curriculum is based on the idea that teachers are facilitators, while  students are not just learners but active participants, observers, and researchers who take charge of their own learning. Initially, the teacher leads the learning process, which is later taken over by the learner. Students not only learn independently, but also from their peers through discussion, dialogue and sharing of information and ideas.
